Preparing for our Milford Odyssey is taking time and patience. I am not sure I am good at patience sometimes. Today was a milestone. Milford-on-Sea is 15 miles from the yard and we have to transport horses, harness, bus and people there and back. We have accomodation agreed at Forest Farm and a date for our first practice run, 9th April. Today we set up the tow bar for the bus and towed it. It is a huge, but quite light vehicle and Steve has the short straw as I am not yet qualified to tow things and Jo will be driving the lorry with the horses.
It is quite saying something when Steve says it is the longest thing he has driven, given that he has an HGV license as well as Jo. All went well and I gave the bus the beginnings of a spring clean so we are well on the way to making yet another dream, a reality.
